Easy Sunrise Juice
This bright and warming Easy Sunrise Juice is a wonderful way to start your day while enjoying the sunrise over the mountains.
It provides a boost to your immune system and helps fight inflammation, too. You only need a few ingredients and just five minutes to prepare this drink!
Enjoy it before a meal or after a training ride to aid digestion and kick-start your recovery.
Serves 2
Time 5 minutes
Ingredients
2 cups hot water
¼ cup unsweetened orange juice
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp ginger juice (substitute ¼ tsp ground ginger)
½ tsp ground turmeric
2 tsp maple syrup or honey
Pinch of black pepper
Directions
Stir all ingredients together in a small pitcher or mason jar. Drink warm first thing in the morning or before a meal to help aid digestion and maximize nutrient absorption.
